Hello and welcome to Terri Mathis Photography. You'll notice that, in many of my photos, you are unable to see the subject's face. And, even when you can see their faces, they very often are not smiling.

I have relied on body language, surroundings and setting to portray the emotions in my photos. I'm hoping you'll realize that, even though you can't see the look on someone's face, you still know what it is by the way they carry themselves.

My goal is to translate life to images, and to produce a piece that is natural and compelling, that stirs emotion, even if you're not sure why
